Oscar Bilingual School

Secondary

The secondary level programme at Oscar Bilingual School applies to students in Year 7 through to Year 12 (graduating year). The curriculum used at the secondary level is based on the new Australian Curriculum for New South Whales.

The new Australian curriculum focuses on seven main learning outcomes (“capabilities”): numeracy, literacy, critical and creative thinking, personal and social capability, ethical understanding, intercultural understanding, and information and communication technology capability (ACAR). Collectively, these outcomes and the content-area knowledge and skills gained therein prepare students for all future endeavors in our increasingly globalized world.

Secondary students are also offered intensive International English Language Testing System (IELTS) preparatory courses as an elective.

Armed with successful completion of the Australian curriculum and the IELTS courses, our students are viable candidates for admission to all major universities worldwide.
